The Growing complexity, diversity and interconnectedness is a common characteristic of today's management information system. Traditional structured methods don't meet the requirement of more and more complicated, the results cannot be well reused. Object-oriented technology can adapt to the variability of software system, and has good portability and reusability. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a visual object-oriented modeling language, UML helps developers to have a good communication with users, and applies to all stages of development.Through in-depth study of UML and Rational Unified Process, combining UML and Rational Unified Process, put forward a more suitable for small and medium-sized software development project of RUP software modeling method based on UML, the proposed method is applied to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) tisanes management information system modeling design, including business process modeling, the requirements modeling, the static model, dynamic model, database design and the establishment of physical model. Finally, in the .NET environment, realized the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) tisanes management information system.In the process of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) tisanes management information system is designed, using UML use case diagram clearly describe the participants, system functional requirements, and the overall structure and main function of the system.Meanwhile, using the sequence diagram to describe system connect the staff, the business logic of the reviewer, bubble medicine personnel in the order of the process of relationship, using the activity diagram to describe system in the receiving party management, review management, drug management, tisanes management of the business logic implementation process, using class diagram to describe system connect the management, review management, bubble medicine management, and other links of the static structure model. Static structural model mapped out by the data model, using the component diagram and configuration diagram to build physical model of the system. Articulate the entire system of the most complex kind of business process, dramatically reducing the complexity of systems, and reducing the risk of system development.On the basis of UML modeling of the system analysis and design, in the .NET environment to achieve the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) tisanes management information system, the system using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database as back-end database, select JavaScript and C# as the programming language. The demand target of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) tisanes management information system are:realizing information management of receiving prescription, formulation of prescription, auditing, tisanes singles printing, drug bubble, tisanes, packing, dispensing and so on. After a certain time of test of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) tisanes management information system, it has been applied to the actual management of hospital medicine room tisanes, largely with the help of hospital medicine tisanes management, played a good role.
