With the development of Internet technology, more and more devices need to be connected to the Internet, so that people can obtain information or remote control devices. However, there are a lot of early development of the device does not have the capacity of the network connection, and the redesign will increase the number of R & D costs. This situation greatly affects the equipment replacement and popularity of the Internet. However, at this stage of the bridging device to access the Internet mostly for common serial and usb port to the design, but used in industrial control SPI and IIC interfaces, but few devices connected to the Internet. In this context, we design a way to use IIC and SPI interface to communicate with peripheral devices using the Ethernet port or serial communication with the pc side bridge system.This design supports network bridging system configuration of IP address and other network parameters for facilitating network connections, while, in order to facilitate the user to debug and development, this system adds serial port for data communication and bridging plate in the absence of network debugging environment. Firstly, this design use S3C2440 control chip taking into account the cost and demand-based and external SDRAM, NAND flash chip. At the same time, we design the corresponding peripheral interfaces. Then we analysis of the Linux and Uboot source to transplant to a bridge board on the basis of hardware design. Finally we developed software bridging function in the Linux environment. The following aspects are studied in this paper:For the needs of multi-interface system and combined with the current popular embedded technology, it is proposed to S3C2440 to the processing unit, linux system as the operating system;According to the master chip features and system requirements for the design of the peripheral circuits, this paper have a detailed description of the transplantation system startup programs and linux system according to hardware features;The software of bridge connection system was developmented in linux environment and complete the need of data integrity and two-way communication.In actual operation, the system can send commands to the IIC and SPI device and get to the correct reply data, also can send the appropriate commands to configure the bridge board parameters.This system is stable, low cost and can be secondary development for different environment with great prospects.
