| In this paper, a digital surveillance system based on embedded system is introduced. A popular Linux OS is adopted in this the embedded system owing to its powerful function and preeminent stability.The working principle and the system developing steps of embedded surveillance system is explained in detail firstly. Then, by compiling of the embedded Linux OS, the system software platform is carried out and the Linux OS equipment driver is mainly introduced in chapter 2. By comparison of several interfaces'performance, IDE is selected as hard disk's Interface, and the IDE Interface block equipment drive under Linux OS is developed. With a mass storage device, this system is able to record historical information easily while inspecting the video in real time. This system has wide market prospect. |
