At present, both in military training or athletic competition, the results are mainly made by manpower. However, artificial indication of shots exits a lot of problems, such as large workload, low efficiency, strong subjectivity and poor safety defects. So the research on high-precision automatic target-scoring has practical value and good prospect.In view of the deficiency of the present automatic scoring, this thesis has proposed a relatively comprehensive, effective and precise program. Overall program design can be divided into hardware design and software processing section. Hardware design completes the function of acquisition and transmission which based on STM32 MCU control module, wireless communication module,FLASH memory module and other modules. Software processing section is the emphasis of this thesis. Software section has finished the work of image processing and achieved the function of interaction and data storage under GUI environment. In the software processing section, this thesis has done the following work:In the image pretreatment section, this thesis focuses on the calibration based on polynomial warping and bilinear interpolation. It also discusses the image segmentation based on Otsu algorithm. In the recognition of bullet section, this thesis puts forward the morphological operation based on Manhattan distance to improve system efficiency. In this part, it also focuses on the factor analysis based on regional features to rule out the interference region. In the loop line detection, it analyzes the effect of the traditional five kinds of edge detection operators and finds that they all have shortcomings,then uses Susan operator to achieve the satisfactory test result. In the recognition of target section, this thesis has improved Hough detection to improve system efficiency. In computer interaction and data storage areas of the GUI environment, the interface can represent the track of the bullet. The system has established the database for the shooting trainers to retain their personal information, present shooting performance and historical shooting performances. The system also provides the shooters recent achievements line chart analysis.After testing, we can find that the program has a comprehensive function, a relatively high degree of automation and a quick recognition of bullet holes. It is able to meet the requirement of daily military training and athletic competition.
