In military training and sport game, shooting is the basic training project. Compared with traditional target-scoring, automatic target-scoring has its unique advantages. For example, raising efficiency, ensuring the fairness of the shooting game, safeguarding the safety of the staff, saving labor force. So it can meet the requirement of the daily training and competition.For the static target can't meet the military training and entertainment's requirement, the article proposes a kind of automatic target-scoring method based on image processing. This method takes mobile target as research object, using image preprocessing method including image filtering, threshold segmentation, mathematical morphology processing, edge detection and so on. By the means of Harris algorithm to detect corners, through the matching corners to correct position. Finally using the image subtraction technology to gain the right bullet hole. Operation platform is Visual Studio C++6.0. On the basis of static target's study, the article puts emphasis up on the position correction, image preprocessing and image recognition, etc.Mobile target position correction is mainly through the Harris corner detection to detect corners in former target and following target. And design corner matching algorithm to correct position according to affine transformation. After correcting, the former target and the following target will have the same rotation angle. The result in precision will have a direct impact to the subtraction of the image.Through a series of image preprocessing algorithm to identify the bull's center, including gray transformation, image filtering, threshold segmentation, edge detection and so on. And calculate the target's center coordinate of the following target. Next we should crop the former target and the following target to equal them and set them at the same position.Through the image subtraction technology to get the right bull, this paper uses the fitting round to compute target and bull's center coordinate. Finally, according to the target-scoring's rule, compute the score.This paper presents the new automatic target-scoring method is accurate and in real time, error is allowed in precision for mobile and static target-scoring. Because of low cost, simple operation etc, the method will be widely applied in the shooting event in large scale.
