The Media Orientation Research In Medical Disputes Report Of Contemporary Chinese Society

In recent years, gaps between advantaged groups and vulnerable groups are growing larger and larger, which leads to intensification of social conflicts. Interests' conflicts between advantaged groups and vulnerable groups are always hot topics focused by the news media. When the media facing to different groups, they'll take different positions and we can find the tendency from their interviews and reports. The portion of patient-doctor disputes reports is increasing among all interest conflicts reports between advantaged groups and vulnerable groups in China, which is of representative meaning. Under the background of trust crisis and constant conflicts between patients and doctors, patient-doctor disputes must be one of the representative events which can reflects current social conflicts between different classes. The main idea of this study is not only summarizing their attitudes to different groups, but also finding the root cause of the conflicts between the advantaged groups and vulnerable groups. Judging and studying on these reasons can help the media know how to ease the conflicts, and make suggestions on how to push on building the harmonious society.For the news media always put patients and doctors into opposite classes in their reports. So in part one of this article, we'll study typical patient-doctor disputes reports in recent years and analyze the main reasons which made the media judge which side is the advantaged group and the other side is the vulnerable group. Then we can find the judging certification used by the media and make conclusions of the different performances according to pointed cases.Part two of this article is discussing the core problem, We'll conclude the current media tendency status on the patient-doctor disputes reports and make an analysis of the root cause of the tendency by researching on sufficient cases, then find the reasons why the media can have different performances on these social conflicts and aware of disadvantages caused by imbalanced reports. This part's contents will deeply study and analyze the right position of the media on reporting interests' conflicts between advantaged groups and vulnerable groups, which is the prerequisite to find the root cause in Part three.Part three is to makes constructive suggestions to the news media on how to take the right position in reporting. Firstly, the media need to change the “advantaged &vulnerable relationship” thinking set, and then they need to stand on the right position,in the text, it stressed to solve the problem from three aspects, report thinking, report contents and report angles.The whole article studies the media tendency on Chinese patient- doctor disputes reports; analyze the news media position on interest conflicts between advantaged groups and vulnerable groups, calls on the news media to insist on the news balance. It will give constructive suggestions to the news media on how to truly, objectively and evenly make news reports on interest conflicts between advantaged groups and vulnerable groups, especially patient- doctor disputes, which will make some help to push on the building of the harmonious society.
