Design And Development Of Vehicle Beidou Navigation And Video Surveillance System Based On Android

With the rapid development of economic and the improvement of people’s living standards, the car has been popular among ordinary people and the number of cars has been increasing. At the same time, the problem of traffic congestion and road safety deserves attention. The existing car navigation system in market is almost based on the GPS navigation,but rarely uses Chinese Beidou navigation system. And it is very easy to have a traffic accident when people do not take necessary safety measures in the process of moving and reversing.This paper designs an intelligent navigation system based on android operating system. The intelligent navigation system can realize the map search, path planning and display the real-time traffic information on electronic map based on Beidou satellite navigation system and baidu map. The system uses cameras to realize vehicle video monitor system. The system uses S5PV210 to build the hardware platform and chooses android 4.0 as the operating system. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. Designing the overall scheme of the intelligent navigation system according to the application demands.2. Construction of the hardware and software development platform, the main work is to design the hardware system based on S5PV210, realize the communication between the core processor and outside sensors,transplant the android 4.0 system and associate device drivers to the on-board hardware system.3. Designing navigation and map based on baidu map. The system contains the basic map information and can display the current position, provide search around,real-time traffic information, and wisdom path planning according to different rules.4. Designing video Rearview system and vehicle monitoring system, which can provide safe protection from the aspects of reversing and driving. It can improve the safety of vehicle driving.This system introduces android system and Beidou satellite position system which has independent intellectual property rights to the field of navigation. It can improve the security of the vehicle navigation and improve the efficiency of driving by using baidu map. The paper uses cameras to design the video monitoring system which can effectively ensure the safety in the process of driving. In all, the system has a certain amount of study and practical value.
