As the independent satellite navigation system developed by China,Beidou navigation system plays a very important role in the field of economic,military and social life.Intelligent terminal products associated with BD are more widely.But 95% of vehiclenavigation terminals are using GPS technology inChinese markets currently, While our Beidou navigation system only shares more or less 1%.A new generation of vehicle navigation terminal system based on Beidou navigation is designed and implementated with system-related hardware and software technology research in this paper.The main contents are as follows:By means of the analysis of functional requirements and overall performance,the solution based on TI AM3354 embedded processor+WinCE6.0 operating system is presented in this paper.A modularized hardware system structure based on main board and system integration are realized in detail.A power protection schemewith the safety and reliability is put forward,which is proved the rationality and feasibility by experiment.The software design of this paper includes the development of system software and application software.During the system software development, the WinCE OS transplanted on the AM3354 hardware platform has been completed.After studing the working principle of BootLoader and OAL in depth,some functions related with BootLoader are realized.At the same time,LCD driver is developed.By modifying the underlying system kernelcode and registry,the embedding of third-party input method and application software self-starting functionare achieved.The overall framework of the software design is proposed in navigation application software development,focusing on the analysis of multi-thread serial communication and data communication protocol.The parsing and processing module of Beidou navigation datas are designed in detail and the software functional testing is finished well.The vehicle terminal designed in this paper has a low cost, low power consumption and high performance.The results of testing show that this development vehicle terminal system with stable and reliable navigation data transmission in real-time could meet the terms of indicated requirements.Meanwhile,the research work of this dissertation has laid the foundation for the further study on the application of other terminals.
