Power integrated data network carries a large number of application system required by the power grid.To ensure the normal operation of power system uninterruptedly while previewing network failure or abnormal condition of network's operation,constructing a simulation system to simulate the operation of the real network is a good choice.Further developing a network running status monitoring system, by real-time monitoring network operating state, make it possible to respond quickly for network's anomalies occur.Aimed at electric power data network operations management requirements, we developed a electric power data network simulation system. In this system, My main work is as follows: designed and implemented a visualization system used in network simulation and modeling, eveloped graphical user interface for NS3 which allowing users using NS3 simulation system through friendly interface. besides, realized the real-time visualization of network's running status.This thesis' s main research contents and achievements include:Firstly, providing a friendly graphical user interface for simulation system which based on NS3, users no longer need to memorize a lot of orders, instead of operating conveniently through Windows, menus, buttons and other ways.Secondly, realized network topology visualization including manually build the network topology and automated construct network topology based on real network's information.achieved two kinds of network topology layout, one is guided by force, another is based on the geographic location information.besides,implement a network topology editor which can conveniently and effectively edit network topology and configure network parameters.Thirdly, realized simulation tasks configured manually and built automatically based on real network's netflow data.Forthly, by connecting to the real network to update the local database,showed the real-time network running state.Using rich statistical charts appeared the change of the present network performance parameters for users.
