Television, as a former family media center, dominates the dissemination of information. However the information flow of traditional TV is unidirectional. Users can only passively accept the information. With the continuous development of mobile Internet technology, mobile smart devices, social networks, video sites and other new media began to be more popular in the worldwide, and gradually changed the way information dissemination. Viewers want to be involved in creating information at the same time of getting information. At the behest of mobile, social media age, social TV came into being. In fact, the powerful combination of social media and television, not only can inject new energy into social networking platform, but also for innovation of traditional television increased a cordial. However, there is no specific way of social TV implementations in our country.This paper firstly analyzes the form of digital TV value-added services. We learned that the development of traditional TV value-added business encounter bottleneck in the era of mobile Internet and social media. And then analyzes the current status of the domestic broadcasting and social networking, summing up the domestic social television services in four ways: TV hardware suppliers directly to produce interactive TV, the cooperation of traditional TV channels and mobile terminal social software, the cooperation of video sites and social networking platform, the way of Internet companies and content providers cooperation. Further summarizes dual strategy of China's social TV in the coming period: TV media embedded in social means, and mobile phone screen drive the development of the TV screen.Because of the diversity of the mobile terminal operating system, different operating systems require different languages and frameworks to repeat the development, which greatly increases the difficulty of development and cost of maintaining. For these questions, this paper designs a social TV application finally, which is based on HTML5 of possessing cross-platform characteristics.
