A Study On The Issue "Alone Together" In Social Media Environment

In the Internet era,social media has been widely used by people for its high efficiency,interaction,and immediacy,which has strongly impacted the social interaction pattern.Virtual social seems to strengthen people's connection with others,however,this "weak connection" relationship is very fragile,which will lead to the alienation of relationships and exacerbate inner loneliness.As a negative emotion,loneliness will intensify the psychological burden of individuals unconsciously,resulting in disordered thinking and chaotic interpersonal communication.The release and spread of loneliness in social media may lead to the "Alone Together",it also may resulting in the unconscious group behavior,which will harm to the social stability.In the background of social media,this paper uses the "media dependence","pseudo-environment","container" and other theories in communication,and "consumerism","impression management","symbolic socialization" in sociology.The papers also combined with CNNIC's latest statistical report and first-hand questionnaire data,provides a comprehensive thinking of "Alone Together" in the Internet,which outlines the social media,"Alone Together",and their relationships.Moreover,this paper describes the various representations of "Alone Together" in the social media,at the same time,analyzes the complex causes of it.On this basis,it proposes the possibility of regaining self-power in the social media environment.
