Optical-fiber Voltage Transducer is a kind of new device for the power grid voltage measurement. Along with the development and mature of optical fiber communication technology, Optical-fiber Voltage Transducer has already overcome the disadvantages and is moving towards the practical application market from the scientific of research laboratory. This thesis is aimed at information processing unite and display unite of Optical-fiber Voltage Transducer of with using Lab VIEW. The main work is as follows: Firstly, Optical-fiber Voltage Transducer is designed based on the properties of BGO crystal and Transducer principle in the numerous related literaturesSecondly, the experimental elements were elected and the functions set. The information processing unie and display unit hardware are consists of a laptop computer, data acquisition card USB-DMP605 compositionThirdly, based on the LabVIEW, information processing program was designed, which are composed of three parts,namely, virtual sine signal generator, information processing system (simulation signals), real data read program.Fourthly, the LabVIEW program experiment was carried. The parameter of sinusoidal signal was set and the expectant sinusoidal waveform was get. Through the simulation signal generation, filtering, waveform display comparative analyses, the signal processing experiments were completed, which is to simulate the working process of OVT information processing unit. Finally, with taking advantage of the TDMS files from USB-DMP605 acquisition card read the program verification was completed and the results were displayed on the front panel. The experimental results show that program is stable and useful.
