The Design And Impementation Of The Plant Management Information System Based On B/S Of TJG 4^th Port Corporation

TJG 4^th Port Corporation mainly engaged in the import and export handling, storage, transit, agency and bonded trade of various types of bulk, breakbulk, ore, metal, wood and many other kinds of cargo. The company, together with Dalian Maritime University, once developed a set of engineering management information system, which made great contribution in standardizing the business process and building enterprise information platform with the growth of the company and also developed rich experience for the informationization construction work of TJG 4^th Port Corporation. But this system was developed by the development tools that was advanced then and met the standard requirement of that time. However, the business management model changes as time goes on. And thechnically the development tools grows stronger to realize more powerful function. At the same time, the original system did not get good maintainenance from the development organization. So a new system should be on the schedule to replace the old one which was has been increasingly unable to meet the needs of production management.The guiding ideology of the equipment management information system of TJG 4^th Port Corporation in this article is Enterprise Asset Management——EAM and it is developed by VB.NET based on B/S structure, and chooses the ORACLE 9i as the database tool. The new information system will be in charge of the basic information management, tools management, spare parts management, procurement management, plan management, maintenance management, repair management, energy management, decision analysis, system maintenance and the management of the interface that connects the system and personnel, finance, administration database or other database.The advanced asset management thinking, the use of advanced development tools, the application of advanced information technology, combined with the full consideration of the actual needs of the users make the system a professional enterprise asset management software with good data management integrity, electronic approval, high intelligence, support for Internet applications and easy expandability.
