With the rapid development of seismic exploration techniques, interpretation of seismic data began facing new requirements, seismic interpretation system efficiency of seismic data interpretation in the current situation has been difficult to improve, but data interpretation work is still increasing, people began to realize that the data interpretation work only on a single client is a major bottleneck to the problem. And on the network, storage and transmission of data on the network presents new challenges, innovative of the network to enhance the efficiency of the upper seismic interpretation system is also important.This innovation of using SDN network architecture in current seismic interpretation system, this thesis designed a distributed parallel seismic interpretation systems based SDN, which provides a reasonable solution to solve the low efficiency of current seismic interpretation system and the low utilization of traditional network bandwidth, the lack of guarantee of data transfer rate.The main innovation and work of the distributed parallel seismic interpretation system design based on SDN is presented in this thesis:Firstly, in view of the problem that the efficiency of interpretation is not increased in the interpretation of large scale seismic data in the existing seismic interpretation system, this thesis proposes a function of multi-user parallel interpretation to the current system, allow users to enter the network interpretation from the local interpretation. Client using shared storage technology remote access the seismic data from the distributed shared storage, allowing users on the network regardless of which position can interpret seismic data, so that "centralized management of data, interpretation feasible everywhere", multiple users can parallel interpret a seismic data at the same time, this interpretation mode can greatly improve the efficiency of seismic data interpretation.Secondly, in view of the problem of the low utilization of bandwidth, the lack of guarantee of data transfer rate in traditional network of seismic interpretation system, this thesis proposes to add SDN network architecture to seismic interpretation system, let the physical network from the control of the hardware layer up to the control of the software layer, let the optimization of the data transmission can be achieved directly through the software layer. Through the SDN controller to drive the network optimization, the upper layer of data transfer rate is guaranteed when doing parallel interpretation.Finally, for the proposed design, this thesis gives the specific implement method and test methods. Finished the network control server software which is developed based on SDN controller, seismic data interpretation server, and the function of parallel interpretation which is added into GMIS software. Then, this thesis verify the functions of network control server via OpenFlow network simulation methods; through the method of constructing physical network, verified the feasibility and correctness of the parallel interpretation function in OpenFlow network.
