Basic Application Platform Exploitation Of Seismic Data Interpretation

Among the software of seismic data interpretation at present in China, a large number of software is based on the workstation, and the software based on PCs is very few. There is GNT that is the subsidiary company of Landmark to exploit DISCOVERY (Vol. 2007) which is relatively perfect organization software of seismic processing and interpretation. The functions of the civil software including Double Foxes and GeoEast V1.0 which is exploited by East Geophysical Exploration Co. are not better than that of DISCOVERY. Otherwise, many seismic processing and interpretation companies in the world are developing the software based on PCs. Though the software introduced is universal in function, some special processing functions based on certain areas are not perfect. Thanks to the limitation of the licence and exploited environment, it is very difficult to exploit the fit software based on these software. Above shows that it is very important for the exploration and exploitation of Oil Fields to exploit a state-owned interpretation system based on the standard platform, which is worldwide market foreground and business worthiness when it is finished.
