Image processing is an important computer application area, in which the imageenhancement is an important branch and has quickly become a hot international research inrecent years. As the key procedure in reservoir prediction, seismic interpretation usescomputer technology to dispose and analyze the seismic data collected. Image processingtechnology in seismic data analyzing process plays an effective role. Besides, it is thefoundation of the seismic data analyzing. At present, there are some methods for seismicimage enhancement, however, faults exist in some specific application.On the basis of researching the characteristics of the seismic attribute image andtraditional enhancement method, this article analyzed the reason for the faults of thetraditional enhancement method and the statistic regular of the seismic attribute data.Combined the histogram threshold theory, this paper puts a seismic image enhancementmethod based on improved histogram. In this method, it first gains the final thresholdsthrough threshold pre-selection, secondly, it confirms the float section of the thresholds. Atlast, combined the statistic result from the histogram, it realizes the zone color-matchingreasonably. In computer image processing inner the RAM, this paper uses the HSI colormodel. In the threshold selection arithmetic, it only uses the H information, and doses notconsider more about S and I. So, nature color enhancement is introduced in seismic imageenhancement area for the first time, and uses H and I to reflect the gradient distribution andlocal differences, which has greatly increased new information for seismic image. Throughthis method, it can not only adjust each component, but also users can combine differentcomponents by requires. So it has high flexibility and can reach good enhancement effect.The proposed approach is utilized to test the different blocks in Daqing, and theexperimental results indicate that it is obviously superior to the traditional one.. Besides, itconquered the faults in traditional methods and greatly improved the visual effect, whichmakes the working stuff satisfied and greatly improves the seismic interpretation rate.
