In recent years, with the rapid development of mobile internet,it bring the social media to earth shaking changes, traditional media has been subjected to an unprecedented impact, among the all social tools,WeChat with its ease of use, free of charge, has become one of the most popular tools. the emergence of WeChat has changed the old mode of information transmission, so that it can be achieved point to point spread, and improved the efficiency of communication, especially the appearance of WeChat public platform, it gives a brand-new platform, for the image and service promotion to various forms of organizations, businesses and individuals and so on, they use functions of push messages and custom menus of WeChat public platform, to maximize its concept and simplify process of service.With the increasing number of WeChat public platform, more and more libraries opened a WeChat public platform, And has achieved very good service effects, so it attracts academic circles to pay attention to the research of libraries‘ WeChat service, especially for public library, whose service object is common people, if this subject can effectively make good use of the WeChat public platform, which is as the same popular with the masses, is a hot topic in academic circles of library science, so starting from the current constructive situation of WeChat public platform in domestic public library, it is necessary to summarize the experience and reflect the problems in order to provide some constructive suggestions for the progress of the domestic public library micro service.This paper consists of seven chapters. the first chapter introduces the background, significance, current situation and methods of the research. the second chapter introduces the related concepts, based on explaining meanings of Weibo, mobile library, Facebook, Twitter and so on, focuses on the detailed elaboration of concept and characteristics of We Chat, the conception and function of the WeChat public platform, and the relationship between this social tool and library service; the third chapter introduces present progress situation of domestic public library's WeChat service, including the general situation, the type of public number, the development mode, the publicity and promotion; in the fourth chapter, it investigates the relevant situation of WeChat push service of public library, as well as push time and push content; in the fifth chapter, it examines the public library WeChat menu service, including construction situation of service mode, reader service menu, digital reading menu, consulting menu; on the basis of the investigation and study, the sixth chapter gives some good suggestions to improve the service of We Chat, from three aspects of general situation, push service and menu service; the seventh chapter is the conclusion and the insufficiency, on the basis of the investigation and analysis above, the paper summarizes the conclusions and shortcomings of the article, and makes a bold prediction of possible future research directions.
