With the rapid development of mobile Internet, WeChat has attracted a large number of users in virtue of convenient and excellent social experiences. Since the project of WeChat public platform was launched in 2012, it has become a fashion for operating bodies to apply for WeChat public account aiming at providing users with various information. Via statistical analysis and summarization for the mass data from New Media Index Platform, this paper elaborates the developing status of public account regarding teacher's professional development and finds out some defects and faults with it. Consequently, this paper explores its developing strategy and is aimed to pave a new way for the professional development of teachers.The author monitored the operation data of 313 WeChat public accounts of teacher's professional development via New Media Index Platform from Jan 2016 to Feb 2016. It is found analytically that there is polarization inside those public accounts. To be more specific, a small amount of accounts possess diverse functions and thus attract a large amount of users and gain much influence. On the other hand, most accounts seldom update routine information which proves to be too simple. What's more, their functions are not reasonable enough and are lack of curriculum resources and interactivity with users.For the author's part, WeChat public platforms of teacher's professional development had better to conduct data analysis and then provide personalized service for teachers in the future. The daily information must be updated regularly in a multi-media way. Besides the information content should be elaborately designed in order to challenge teacher to be trained actively. In addition, WeChat public platforms of teacher's professional development should also be more interactive with users, improve the source liquidity and add the function of feedback and review.
