With the improvement of living standards, the increase of traffic on the city roads, the rapid development of traffic construction and electronic technology vigorously,accelerating the construction of street lamps, advocating green street lamp management system, accomplishing street lamp highly intelligent and saving energy have become the hot topic of the social development now. To accelerate the development of construction of city street now become play a important role in city road construction.Due to there are few of cars when deep in the night, it will waste a lot of waste electric energy if street lamps are open all the night. This paper designed a street lamps controller based on using the CC2530 chip of the company of TI, the controller is based on Doppler radar HB100 vehicle detection module, lighting monitoring system based on ZigBee wireless network technology and GPRS as the main means of communication. The system mainly includes street lamp controller, central controller and PC software. And the controller mainly includes CC2530 node circuit, microwave detection module, wireless transceiver module, serial communication module, switch module, analog-to-digital conversion and DC circuit module etc.. Microwave detection module can sample the signal of cars and persons, and the this signal though process will get the speed of cars or persons. In the last, according to the decision and the adjacent street sent the information to the common control street lights switch and duration, which can guarantee the closed street in one pass and open front lamps in advance receives the detection signal. At the same time, the centralized controller sends the data to the lamp state and system real-time monitoring center with GPRS module. Due to there will be a ZigBee isolated node in network communication problems, this paper modified the ZigBee protocol in the network layer frame control part, reduced the number of isolated nodes and improved the lamp connection rate using isolated node reduction algorithm.PC software using Labview to achieve real-time monitoring of the state of the street. Complete the communication, control and query functions. This system not only ensures the traffic safety, but also save manpower and energy.
