Algorithm Research Of The Minimization Of Drive Tests In LTE-Advanced System

With the constant development of mobile communication technology,network size and the number of users have been expanding,how the real-time data on the performance of the network was obtained to optimize the network coverage and operation timely,so as to improve the quality of the network and the user's perception has become the focus of mobile operators.Minimization of drive tests technology could obtain up-to-data performance information of the network,which is based on the feedback from the user equipment with the minimum amount of effort and cost,has become one of the most important technology in the LTE-Advanced system.Firstly,this paper describes the research background and development status of the minimization of drive tests technology,and focuses on the standardizing development of the minimization of drive tests technology.At the same time,this paper also compares the MDT technology and the method based on MR.After this analyzes the overall architecture of MDT technology,and then starting from the control plane architecture,processes like measurement configuration,measurement collection and measurement report of MDT technology has been analyzed.At the same time,the whole flow charts were proposed in the context of area based Immediate MDT,signaling based Immediate MDT,area based Logged MDT and signaling based Logged MDT.At last,by using the existing resources in the lab,the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm are verified by the test of the actual network test.In order to evaluate the possibility of applying MDT technology into practical application,this paper also analyzes the impact of MDT technology on network,terminal and user,and gives the relevant conclusions.
