| In the current wireless network planning often adopt drive test,in order to evaluate the network performance effectively,and detect whether there exist the network weakly covered or coverage holes.The traditional drive test is to measure by drive test terminal in the current network environment have been deployed.The way of test requires a lot of manpower and material resources,increases the cost of operation and maintenance.At the same time,the drive test area range road test is limited.With the gradual maturity of LTE system,introduces the Minimization of Drive-Tests technology.The technology collects measurement data triggered by the eNodeB mobile terminal automatically.There is the trend of the traditional drive test has been replaced by the Minimization of Drive-Tests.The Minimization of Drive-Tests technology is bound to reduce the cost of network optimization and obtain a more comprehensive measurement data.This paper determined the control plane signaling flows of MDT based on 3GPP R10 version protocol.And it designed measurement configuration,measurement collection and measurement reporting process of MDT.Meanwhile this paper gives a simple exposition of UE power headroom reporting process and the treatment of MDT contexts while the process of handover.UE selection,UE configuration in the wireless and exception handling area based,parameters review signaling based can make more rational and effective.Immediate MDT make it acquire the reporting data quickly.Logged MDT add the function of MDT log data acquisition.So it does not affect the connection establishment process and UE access delay,to make MDT reporting data more quickly,reliable and effective.The MDT configuration parameters can be switched in S1,X2 handover and intra handover scenes.It can avoid the loss of MDT measurement configuration context in handover process.This scheme can perform local management of MDT configuration parameters and reporting data to improve system reliability and stability. implemented based on this method,at the same time we conduct practical tests based on the actual networks,present practical results.It can accurately reflect effectively the network environment signal strength through the analysis of the testing results.The implementation scheme for Minimization of Drive-Tests in LTE system reach the purpose of the network optimization. |
