With the development of society and people's yearning for better life, China's construction engineering career reaches its zenith. But after participating in project management, I find that project management methods cannot keep pace with the times. In document management, some companies are still using the traditional manual recording method. Whenever you want to view a document, information staff need find information from a lot of file boxes. This is not only time consuming, but also causes information stuff to suffer from memory, struggle to sort out. In the progress of the project, the information interaction is very slow, construction workers and supervisory staffs need to write down record of the work every day. If the owners want to know what step the work goes on from relevant units, they must contact the construction supervision units, but cannot inquire by themselves. Similarly, in terms of project quality and safety engineering, hysteretic information and traditional regulatory system, lead to undesired results about project quality and the lack of security.In reference to large number of basic information and practical experience with engineering, I went through the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional regulatory system works, as well as considered the benefits of bringing modern management techniques to the project. The design in my thesis based on Construction Project Supervision and Management System (referred CPSMS). My main purpose is to improve the quality and security of construction project, tensure the progress, achieve synchronization of information, reduce the burden of staff and reduce the waste of resources and so on.My thesis researched about developing construction projects monitoring system using Browser/Server architecture under the.Net platform. It based on the Web way, so users do not need a particular client side, you can log in through a traditional browser. By system testing and user feedback, our design of construction engineering project supervision and management system can actually improve the efficiency of engineering project managers and their management level, realize the remote collaborative management, and satisfy the requirement of intended use.
