The Study Of Evaluation System Of Ability Of Students Major In Computer Application In Higher Vocational Schools

Significant changes of the concept of student assessment and the subject, content and methods of evaluation have taken place with the process of curriculum evaluation. As a half of higher education, higher vocational education has begun to reform the school system, curriculum,teachers and other aspects, in order to strengthen the training of vocational students' professional abilities. Evaluation of vocational school students' ability is an important factor to measure the level of development of higher vocational education, therefore, a scientific evaluation system of students' ability has an important significance for the development of students in vocational schools.Currently, evaluation system of students in vocational schools mostly still follow the traditional methods of evaluation, which emphasis on the assessment of knowledge, ignores the assessment of skills and qualities, as a result, it has hindered the development of vocational students in some ways. A scientific evaluation system can fully understand the learning process of students, promote the overall development of students and improve teaching. This study has constructed an evaluation system of ability of students major in computer application in higher vocational schools based on the requirements for students in higher vocational schools from national policy, development of society and business units, combined with the feature of major in computer application in higher vocational schools. The evaluation system emphasizes the pluralism of the subject and content of evaluation and the diversification of the methods of evaluation. The evaluation system meets the requirements for high-skilled talented person who are technology skills-based, composite skilled and knowledge-skilled, meets the requirements for the training of creative talents and the construction of new evaluation system of students. Thus, it has great theoretical and practical significance to construct the evaluation system of ability of students major in computer application in higher vocational schools according to the theory of student evaluation in vocational technical education.In this study, we have not only constructed the evaluation system of ability of studentsmajor in computer application in higher vocational schools, but also developed a computer software and undertook the evaluation system. The main work of the study is as follows:(1) The research of basic theory. By checking, carding and analyzing the relevant literature,the author has elaborated carefully the theory about evaluation and research status at home and abroad about evaluation of students' ability, explored the basis and principles of the construction of the evaluation system of ability of students major in computer application in higher vocational schools, especially the construction of the model.(2) Design and construct the evaluation system of ability of students major in computer application in higher vocational schools. The main work includes setting of the indexes of the evaluation system, calculation about the weights of every index and the determination of evaluation standard. Through literature survey and Delphi method, we determined the indexes of the evaluation system, and then we used AHP to determine the weights of every index. Finally,we inferred the evaluation system with three levels.(3) Develop a computer software and undertake school-based implementation about the evaluation system. According to the evaluation system that we have designed, we have developed a computer software and undertook the evaluation system, finally we analyzed the test results through questionnaire.Due to time constraints, coupled with my lack of knowledge and technology, the evaluation system designed and computer software can reflect the initial research ideas and intentions, there still are many shorts in my study.(1) Evaluation System are not quite complete, the indexes of the system needs to be further improved.(2) The computer software is relatively simple, and it needs to be expanded and deepened,so that the function can be enhanced.Future research will focus on these points, and we will strive to achieve the improvement of scientific features and perfection of the evaluation system in the construction of indexes and the computer software.
