Data shows: our secondary vocational education enrolled7,541,300students,accounting for47.17%of the total number of high school enrollment. Secondaryvocational school students form a large group in our education system. Most of themwere forced to choose vocational education because they failed the senior high schoolentrance examination. Some of them may have bad habits, they are more likely to selfdenial, which can easily cause them psychological distress and disorders in emotion,communication, personality and so on. With psychological problems attacking, theycannot become qualified worker in the future. It is beneficial both for the students andthe schools to carry out mental health education in vocational schools, to raise goodpsychological quality of the students, and to solve the students’ psychological perplexity.Also, it will help to reduce a lot of pressure for the society and families. Because of thespecialty of the Internet, students are braver to express their true emotions online. Thus,it is more meaningful to find out and solve students’ mental health problems by meansof the network platform.This paper determines the system requirements by having a discussion ofpsychological health with the teachers and the students in vocational schools and byreferring to the function of the mental health system at home and abroad. This paperalso offers guidance to the development of the system on the basis of the modernsoftware engineering theory. In the system design stage, the business process of thesystem is determined through the fully understanding of the working methods andmeans of mental health. The paper designs the overall framework of the systemaccording to the requirements, and divides it into various functional modules. Using theE-R diagram, the paper makes the concept design for the system database and thenderives a physical model; finally it sets up a database using SQL Server2005. UsingVisual Studio2008development platform, the system webpage is programmed inaccordance with the functional modules, and finally the function of each module isrealized and the system design is finished. A comprehensive test is conducted to thesystem according to the software testing process, thus the target system with perfectfunction is accomplished.This paper makes a systematic analysis on the psychological health education demand of vocational school students basing on the theories of Education, Psychology,Software Engineering and so on. This paper focuses on system needs analysis, overalldesign, detailed design process, and on this basis to establish the background related tothe database, using SQL Server database technology developed to implement onlinetesting system. It designs and achieves the mental health advisory system for thesecondary vocational students. The system includes the following modules: theknowledge of mental health, psychological counseling, psychological assessment,mental forum, etc. The system adopts the ASP.NET and SQL Server2005databasetechnology. It is a network communication system based on the B/S working mode. Itcan not only realize the functions such as student-teacher communication, psychologicalevaluation and so on, but also can realize the timely warning of students’psychological problems. The system can effectively improve the popularization, validityand efficiency of mental health education.The research results offer the new mode and application solution forpsychological evaluation of vocational school students. The system has low cost,online and interdynamic advantage with high efficiency. It has met university students’many kinds of psychological consultation demand, and has certain real value.
