The era of we-media pushes the original pattern of global news communication into a new situation, users are beginning to produce information on various we-media platforms, and we-media platforms are increasingly becoming an important power of international news communication and impetus of social movement. Public opinions about China on we-media platforms are the direct comprehension of Chinese national images from foreign people, thus the study of public opinions about China is an inevitable requirement for the construction of good Chinese national images. The past Chinese images studies mainly focus on international mainstream newspapers and not we-media platforms.CNN i-Report is the forerunner and flagship of civil news website, To some extent, public opinions about China on CNN i-Report is the representation of foreign people's comprehension about china. In this article, a content analysis was performed on items collected from CNN i-Report. The analysis finds that CNN i-Report presents a more integrated, intricate Chinese image in terms of politics, economy, culture and society.Based on the research findings, this article explored the strategy of constructing a good national image in the era of we-media, first is to accommodate the external communication strategy to the changing circumstances of global communication, the second is to foster strengths and circumvent weakness, to strengthen the construction of cultural soft power and improve religion and politics image. The third is to promote the construction of we-media, and make Chinese voice heard. The last one is to strengthen the monitor of international public opinion, attach importance to the power of the netizens.
