With the media's supervision on judicial becoming more and more frequent and deep,influence on judicial justice by media reports also grows more and more concerned. Do mediareports safeguard or damage Judicial Justice? Different views exist in judicial,media andacademic circles. Through Combing previous relevant research results on this issue,we foundthat the understanding of the parties standing in different positions have contradiction andconflict. Both sides adhere to their own views and dispute with each other,which requires us todo an in-depth inquiry on this problem and re-examine the cognition deviation between twosides,in order to resolve their dispute.The paper takes39influential cases of the2002-2011decade and "Southern Weekend"reports on them as object of study,departure from the cases and case reports,the paper makesa practical and realistic analysis on the different types of case reports and their differentialinfluence on judicial justice. By inductive and comparative analysis,the paper divides casereports into two types: positive reports and negative reports. Positive reports include Newsreports before judicial intervention,Supervision reports between case filing and trial,Reflectivereports after trial. Negative reports include Skill failure case reports,News Sensationalizationand Trial by Media.The study found that media reports have both positive and negative impact on judicialjustice. However,there are negative elements in Positive impact and negative impact may alsohave positive value. The properties of case reports may be totally different because of thedifferent media,case and reporting time. Thus,with regard to the influence on judicial justiceby media report,we'd better make a specific analysis and evaluation on specific cases andspecific reports.By re-examining the different views of the judiciary,the media and the academia on thisissue,combining with analysis of specific cases and case reports,this paper concludes that: InCognition,with regard to the influence on judicial justice by media reports,we should dopractical and realistic analysis with a dialectical view rather than simply do across the board; In practice,The media should do more positive supervision on judicial,avoid negative reports,reduce reporting errors,in order to maintain and relieve the judicial justice.
