The groundwater is excessively exploited in China. It's necessary and effective for using groundwater resource rationally with remote monitoring system due to the pump wells widely distributed. The background of this dissertation is remote monitoring system for groundwater. And the composition, basic functions, work patterns and information safety are introduced firstly. The main contents and key techniques about remote wireless monitoring system based on GPRS/GSM are researched systematically through theoretical study and engineering practice. Then the solved scheme for the practical faults of embed terminal is presented.For the widely distributed application condition of the remote monitoring system, the conclusions which used ADSL + SMS mode for under layer and B/S mode for up layer are proposed. This new model has some advantages for exerting GPRS communications and making the system good extension and adaptability.Combining the function, cost, reliability of the system, a system terminal realization model, which includes the choice of communications model and MCU, serial design, is given two methods which are used to save computing time in the implementation of DES algorithm are provided.According to the specific features and measure principle of tongue tub, switch velocity of tongue tub, safeguard, hardware pulse face lifting and the arithmetic of software counting were researched and improved on. It greatly improved the reliability of the tongue tub pulse remote transmitting water meter.The new method for upgrading terminal program using IAP function based on GPRS/GSM is produced, which is aimed at the special disadvantage of remote monitoring system, such as widely distribute, difficult updating and so on. Above all groundwork, the reliability of IAP application is researched more.The practical result showed it is stable and reliable. Basically satisfies the design request.
