As society progresses, the global information technology is becoming more popular,and different sizes LAN have been born. LAN switches are differently used in network. In order to meet market demand, a three-layer switch for small and medium MSR932 is produced, it has a high-speed Layer 2 forwarding function and L3 routing forwarding.MSR932 switching system includes hardware design, software architecture and function design of the switch. The switch has a CPU, two switch chips, memory and other hardware, wherein the two switch chips connected in cascade. The software uses a modular design, which includes the design of switching system module, port modules,back-end module, equipment module and so on. These modules are mainly used to initialize the switching chip or for functional testing. In the system implementation process, according to the software development processes, it has the requirement analysis,project design, project coding, system test and a series of steps. In the process of implementation of these steps, there are not only document and code, but also through the the company colleagues reviewed in order to ensure a stable and orderly implementation of the project.When MSR932 system needs to be deployed in the network system, through its three-switching technology, not only to meet the exchange of information for small and medium enterprise, but also to meet the needs of enterprise access to the Internet, while the working all days and stability can reduce companies' operating costs.
