Radio frequency identification(RFID) technology is a new automatic identification technology,This technology utilizes space coupling to achieve non-contact information transmission and achieve the purpose of identification through the transmission of information. With the development of radio frequency identification technology, with small volume, low power consumption, light weight, stable performance, strong compatibility and portable RFID reader becomes the hot spot in the future research.In this paper, a frequency RFID reader which suitable for ISO/IEC 15693?ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and ISO/IEC 14443 Type B three protocol standards were designed, and development the specialized application software to complete the testing of the tag. First of foremost,introduce the three main components of RFID technology and the use of the coding technology, modulation technology and protocol standard. Secondly, A comprehensive analysis of the RFID reader system structure. The system scheme of overall high frequency RFID reader is put forward, It is included control module design based on the SST89E58 chip?RF module design based on the CL RC632 chip?communication module design based on the MAX232 chip?antenna module design and power module design. Thirdly, introduce the software design of the control module and the RF module, also, based on the ISO/IEC 15693?ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and ISO/IEC 14443 Type B three protocols a software encoding format was presented. Last but not least, based on the RFID reader and the three different protocol standards,design the corresponding PC application software.Through the integrate debug of hardware and software, build the high frequency RFID tag chip test platform to complete the test work. Based on ISO/IEC 15693?ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and ISO/IEC 14443 Type B three protocol standards, The modulation waveform, coding waveform and returns data were tested respectively. According to the return data and waveform shows, this paper design the high frequency RFID tag chip test platform could effectively read/write data of the tag chip.
