With the continuous development of the Internet and computer technology, the domestic network communication industry mushroomed rapidly in recent years.The scale of our network communications operators is grand and carries a wide variety of business, including core traffic network, access network, SDH and PDH transmission network.etc.Yet, with the continuous expansion of the network scale and the boom of the network equipment's type and quantity,the various new services demands on a more efficient network.The network management based on traditional TMN standard has faced some limitations in the environment of large quantities of NE,network communications operators are now facing great challenges in how to shield the diversity of equipment and how to manage the large and distributed transmission network effectively.CORBA technology has the ability to build a better distributed network management system with the distributed, crOSS platform and object-oriented features. Meanwhile,the CORBA technology overcomes the defect of TMN technology realized by traditional Q3 interface and the shortcomings of the SNMP protocol in terms of security. Generally,the northbound interface in PTN network management based on CORBA technology is the ideal realization of constructing PTN transmission network.This subject comes from PTN intelligent network management system, researched by school-enterprise cooperation project which developed independently for Telecommunications Research Institute of Taiwan,the system is used to realize the function of a sub_network management under the jurisdiction of Telecommunications Research Institute of Taiwan.The author participates in the development of the northbound interface in PTN network management system, including the requirements analysis, environment building, module designing, coding, performance improvement,,testing and the release of the project.etc.Thesis make a detailed layered architecture design for the PTN network,describes the status which the northbound interface based on CORBA is in entire network architecture firstly, and make the technology selection,structural design and functional design for the northbound interface from the perspective of the functional requirements of northbound interface secondly, and make detailed adaptation design and implementation for northbound interface, then design the CORBA interface, information model, sequence diagram and show the detailed process of final system from the IDL frame to code implementation to system integration taking the sub-network management module as an example finally.The automatic route calculation is essential in the sub-network management module of the northbound interface.According to the problem that many routing calculation algorithms of network management software do not determine the reliability of the link itself,which lead to users cannot choose reliable path as the bearing.This thesis put forward the idea of using the time series prediction model to enhance routing calculation algorithm,with detailed technologies, implementations,the simulations,this route calculation algorithm recommends users to select a more reliable route in order to reduce the overhead caused by the late operation and maintenance.The thesis ends with the implements of the function testing of the the system.
