Design And Implementation Of Northbound Architecture Function Platform In 3G Network Management System Based On CORBA Technology

The network management system is not only the important part of the Third-generation mobile communication network,but also one of important bases that make the network normal,economical,reliable and secure. With the increasing complexity and hugeness of communication network, the research of 3G NMS(Network Management System) becomes one of hot issues.At first,the characteristics of the TMN is analyzed in this paper, and the ZTE 3G generic NMS is introduced from differents perspectives such as logical structure, functional structure and information model. Then with the Java language and XML technology, a java implement of interface solution betweens NMS and OMC(Operation & Maintenance Center),which is based on CORBA architecture, is put forward in the paper.And furthermore the paper describes the design and the implement of the generic northbound architecture platform which can adapt to a variety of 3G network(WCDMA,TD-SCDMA,CDMA2000) very well.
