A Research Of Usability Design On The Financial Service Website Form

As the interactive window between users and websites, form is omnipresent. Its main function is to fetch data. With the development of Internet technology, users become more vigilant, more security-conscious, and have a lower tolerance for poorly designed forms. Therefore, in order to avoid the loss of users, site designers should pay more attention to the form of usability design. Especially in the current context of nternet financial background, whether they are operating personal online bank or financial product online trading, users are inseparable from form. How to enable the user to quickly complete the transaction in the premise of ensuring safety, which is the key of the interaction design on the financial service website form.This thesis analyzed the four main forms of financial service website features based on the Information Processing Model. These four forms are: registration forms, login forms, recharge form, and trading forms. It attempts to associate these four forms of interaction characteristics and perception, attention, memory, language, thinking, judgment and decision-making and other mental activities in information processing psychology.Based on the above research, this thesis analyzed the design strategy about organizational structure, frame elements and visual presentation of the financial service website form. It based on the information processing psychology to proposed four strategy principles,raising the question tags which are easy to answer,selecting the input field which fit the users’ expectation; thinking about action’s placement carefully, dealing with the timing and position of help and feedback. Form should be kept clearly and orderly by optimizing visual elements to build trust, in order to reduce the user’s cognitive burden and improve the completion rate of the form.Finally, in order to verify the correctness and usability of the theory, the author did practical project, usability testing and achieved experiment result.
