Now countries around the world,Heavy casualties and property of heavy losses has been causing by a number of combustible gas explosion every year. In addition to the safety of people's subjective consciousness is weak, science and technology and monitoring method is also a major reason behind. The combustible gas monitoring is commonly used now wired way, but in the process of wiring has a high requirement on the environment and the cable, not only expensive but also when the cable damage would be very troublesome to change, and use Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) of combustible gas monitoring is a very good solution, WSN has developed rapidly and been applied to many areas, as a result, a kind of combustible gas monitoring system was designed based on WSN in this paper.A gas monitoring system to combustible based on WSN and Zigbee wireless technology was desgned in this paper. the lower machine part of the whole system is made up of WSN nodes and the coordinator node, used CC2430 wireless chips as the main control chip of WSN node, and selected TB3LG910 type gas sensor for gas signal acquisition, sound and light alarm circuit was designed, the coordinator node used STM32F103 RC as main control chip, and on the basis of the design of LCD, power supply, a serial port module, used SP3232 ECA chip serial communication with monitoring host, in this paper for the next bit machine hardware and software part were telled in detail and gived the circuit diagram and flow chart of each module. Visual Basic6.0 was used by the compile of PC application software that running on Windows operating system, database access7.0 was also used, application software have many functions,such as data acquisition,analysis,storage and node functions of wireless communication, it has the good man-machine interface. In this paper, by monitoring the host for real-time wireless monitoring of detecting gas, if the concentration is too high,it will report to the police and take measures to deal with.Setting up corresponding experimental platform to test the function of the system, the main network of the whole system, the net, communication alarm and barrier-free communication from two aspects of the impact on the packet loss rate was tested, the experiment results show that the network of the whole system run correctly and can realize reliable alarm, and almost no packet loss in 40 meters and implements the accurate report to the police. Meet the design requirements, achieved the purpose of the combustible gas wireless real-time monitoring.
