Combustible gas has become an indispensable part of people’s daily life and industrial production, but due to the combustible gas leak caused the accident occurs consistently. The accident has seriously threat to people’s life and property safety, effective monitoring combustible gas leak of great economic and social significance. Combustible gas monitoring platform is still in the small-scale, single-function state, independent of each other monitoring node limits the monitoring scope and function.In urgent need of one of the new technologies and platforms to meet the monitoring requirements.This paper designs and implements a combustible gas monitoring system hardware platform based on wireless sensor network. The combustible gas monitoring node can be self-organizing wireless sensor networks; real-time monitoring of the state of combustible gas leaks, and enables remote monitoring. The hardware platform is componented of the wireless combustible gas monitoring sensors hardware and software. Wireless combustible gas monitoring sensors adopt Janice5139modules as a wireless transmission module and master module, which can make the threshold of concentration of combustible gases. When combustible gas concentration exceeds the threshold, there will be an alarm:on the one hand to start the buzzer beeps warning and lights flashing, on the other hand the alarm information can be uploaded to the monitoring center for further processing. In order to improve the nodes of electromagnetic compatibility and anti-jamming, the hardware PCB circuit board using a4-layer circuit board.In this paper, we design an easy monitoring center software system for performance testing and evaluation of wireless combustible gas monitoring sensors. The monitoring center can achieve the working status of each sensor node under the jurisdiction; inquire the real-time monitoring concentration and History, report periodically. The concentration alarm information can be pooled and prompts. This paper builds experimental platform with multiple wireless combustible gas monitoring sensors and tests the function. The test results show that the wireless combustible gas monitoring sensor can achieve all of the above functions.Combustible gas monitoring platform posed by wireless combustible gas monitoring sensors is based on wireless sensor networks can be remote, real-time monitoring the concentration of combustible gas. Combustible gas monitoring platform has flexible monitoring range, low-cost, functional, which can be widely used in combustible gas leak monitoring, such as residential buildings, industrial sites etc.
