Variable teaching has been in China for a long time.It is used by the teachers consciously or unconsciously.Variant teaching accords with the requirements of the new curriculum standard,meets the needs of modern teaching,improves the efficiency and quality of classroom teaching,and trains students' innovation and thinking ability.In order to explore the validity and feasibility of the variant teaching,the paper uses the literature method,the interview survey method,the case analysis method,the action research method and so on.This paper expounds the research background and significance of variant teaching,describes the concept and theoretical basis of variant teaching,and gives the principles and strategies of variational teaching in senior high school mathematics.The variable teaching of concept,variable teaching of theorem and formula,and variable teaching of exercises in high school mathematics are discussed.In the variable teaching of concept,the concept variable process and the example of concept teaching are analyzed.It is easy for students to understand the new mathematical concept.In the variable teaching of theorems and formulas,the formation and deformation of theorems and formulas are demonstrated.It is convenient for students to master abstract theorems and formulas.In the variant teaching of the exercises,the variant form of the method of solving the problem and the variant extension of the problem solving are explored,which helps the students to solve the practical problems by using the mathematical thought.The variable teaching is applied to the experiment of mathematics classroom teaching.The experimental results are analyzed in detail by using the mathematical education evaluation method,and the excellent effect of the variable teaching is summed up.It is helpful for students to master mathematical knowledge and improve their mathematical skills.It also inspires interest in learning and fostering the spirit of innovation.The variable teaching of mathematics in high school is of great significance to teachers' teaching and students' learning.Variable teaching has strengthened teachers' professional skills and improved the teaching level of teachers.It has aroused the students' interest in learning and exerts the subjective initiative of the students.
