Mathematical plays a unique and irreplaceable role in thedevelopment of human’s rational thinking and promote the individualintelligence development process. Mathematics culture is animportant part of human culture, so every citizen should have themathematical literacy. Mathematics learning is not only the focus ofbasic education, but also the basic thinking of dealing with all kindsof things.Middle school mathematics not only makes students learnproblem-solving methods of mathematics but also trains them thethought of combination between number and form as well as cultivatethe students’ interest in mathematics and improve students’ abilityof solving problem with mathematical.This paper reviews the number form thinking development historyand present situation. Measurement evaluation method was adoptedto yonghe senior three student’s mathematics knowledge, form theprocess of thought and method for testing. Based on the theory ofmodern education, and learning characteristics of senior stages,build a number of high school math form based on geometricsketchpad thinking ability training programKey account number formcognitive thinking, using geometric sketchpad to mathematicscomposition, graphics transform, function diagram method such as translation, scaling and folded in half to solve the problem. Usingexamples highlights the geometry sketchpad in mathematicsgraphics rendering and number form the important role of thinking.Through test results before and after the contrast analysis, we cansee a number of students have mastered the basic thinking method,and can extrapolate the integrated use of a variety of methods tosolve the problem.The results show that the teachers in number form thinking abilitytraining play a leading role, and attaches great importance to thestudents in the teaching process form thinking ability trainingassociated with students’ ability to solve the problem. Using thegeometry sketchpad can improve the students’ thinking ability, andimprove the learning performance.
