In order to study how to promote the application of geometric sketchpad in middle school mathematics classroom teaching,this paper is based on introduction to geometric sketchpad,information technology and curriculum integration theory,constructivism learning theory,and Bruner's theory of discovery learning,etc,uses the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and experimental method,etc,through the research on the mathematics teachers and some students of junior high school in X Middle School in N city where the teaching is located,understand the application of geometric sketchpad in mathematics classroom teaching in rural junior high schools from the perspectives of teachers and students respectively,it is found that the following problems exist in the application of geometric sketchpad in mathematics classroom teaching in rural junior high schools:(1)teachers are mainly backward in teaching concepts,weak in application awareness and obvious in objective resistance;(2)the students' interest in learning is not strong and the learning effect is not good.Based on the application of geometric sketchpad in mathematics classroom teaching in rural junior high schools,the following countermeasures are put forward for the application of geometric sketchpad in mathematics classroom teaching in rural junior high schools:(1)to guide teachers to update teaching concepts and deepen the application awareness of geometric sketchpad in classroom;(2)use geometric sketchpad to overcome teaching difficulties and improve students' interest in learning;(3)relying on geometric sketchpad to create situations and solve students' learning problems.In addition,in order to explore whether geometric sketchpad has an auxiliary effect on mathematics teaching and students' learning,two classes were selected for experimental control in the teaching location.Combined with the above-mentioned countermeasures,the teaching design of the experimental class is provided,and the teaching design is analyzed,and the teaching effect of the geometric sketchpad is tested by comparing the learning situation and the learning achievement,so as to obtain the teaching enlightenment.
