Teacher anxiety is a common state of mind among middle school teachers.This state of mind has a great impact on the mental health and work efficiency of middle school teachers,and will also affect the stability of the teachers ’group.More importantly,it will indirectly affect the students ’knowledge acceptance and physical and mental growth.Anxiety refers to the emotional response of an individual in a dangerous stimulus and situation or in a threatened situation,including unpleasant feelings,thoughts,and physical changes.Psychologists have conducted many studies on the occurrence,development,structure,and characteristics of anxiety in many dimensions such as physiology,psychology,and society,providing relevant theoretical basis for further in-depth research on anxiety.However,there are few researches on the anxiety of certain groups of people,especially the research on the influencing factors of the anxiety of middle school teachers is not systematic and in-depth.In this study,the anxiety status and influencing factors of a middle school teacher in Hantai District were investigated by means of questionnaire survey,and the countermeasures were discussed in detail.In this study,296 teachers in a middle school in Hantai were investigated by using the Self-Assessment Scale of Anxiety(SAS).The results showed that(1)the anxiety detection rate of a middle school teacher in Hantai District was 19.59 %,and the average anxiety score of teachers was 59.8 ± 7.50,which was higher than the domestic norm.(2)There are significant differences in the level of anxiety among the teachers of the school in terms of gender,age,marital status,professional title,academic qualifications,whether or not the head teacher,whether or not the graduating class,and the length of daily work.The groups with more serious anxiety are female teachers,middle-aged teachers,married teachers,middle and senior professional teachers,teachers with low academic qualifications,teachers who serve as head teachers,teachers in the graduating class,and teachers who work more than 9 hours a day.The conclusion of this study is as follows: high school teachers are the group with high anxiety level.Middle school teachers should master the basic methods of psychological control,actively maintain their mental health status,and society and schools should also actively pay attention to the mental health of middle school teachers.This research object is a special group of middle school teachers.It discusses the current situation and influencing factors of the middle school teachers ’anxiety in China,and puts forward concrete suggestions and countermeasures to relieve anxiety from the social,school and individual aspects.In order to maintain the mental health of middle school teachers to provide a variety of feasible measures.
