Project Social Workers Involved In The Empowerment Of Elderly Women In The Community Practical Research

In recent years,with the rapid development of the national economy,China's aging trend has become increasingly apparent,showing the increasing speed of aging and the increasing proportion of older women in the population.In urban social life,the focus of life of elderly women in the community is basically around the family.Most of the energy is devoted to the family.Little attention is paid to self-development.Even without their own entertainment space and spiritual life,they gradually become full-time nannies for the family.In addition,due to economic and social factors,the relatively low economic income,narrow social circle,and limited resource connectivity of elderly women in the community make them the most in need of protection but often hurt,and they need to pay attention but are always neglected.group.Therefore,this article will combine with the activities carried out during the internship of the author to conduct a practical exploration on how to increase the core problem of “community elderly women”.During the internship,the author mainly engaged in the work of the elderly in the field of service.In conducting demand research,it was found that there are three major difficulties for the community of older women in the community : weak social communication skills--lack of sense of power,lack of direction and fun in life--strong sense of emptiness,lack of energy--low sense of value,and an urgent need for professionalism Workers help them“energize”.Therefore,this article will use literature,questionnaires,semi-structured interviews,and participatory observations to investigate and analyze the plight of older women in the W community.The theory is based on advantages,social support networks,gender theory,and elderly activity theory.The foundation is to empower the elderly women in the community through the “Fine Skills,Hearty and Fun”workshop and the “Yiqi Dance,Butterfly Life”women's growth group activity,and involve the three aspects of skills,effectiveness and practice.The results are summarized and reviewed,and the need for and effectiveness of project social workers' intervention in empowerment of older women in the community are further explored.At the same time,government strength and social resources are linked to jointly play an important role in empowering older women in the community in order to achieve the ability and potential of elderly women in the community.Excavation,the goal of enhancing the sense of well-being of the people,and then realize the goal of “being old,learning,being productive,and having fun”.
