| With the increase of age and the needs of life,the elderly have higher requirements on the living floor and the convenience of movement.The commercial housing community meets the elderly’s need for old age,and more elderly activities can be seen in the community.In the commercial housing community,it is difficult to meet neighbors in a short time.Studies have shown that communication with neighbors and friends can alleviate old people’s loneliness than with spouses and children.Therefore,it is particularly important for the elderly to participate in community activities.In this article,the elderly in the commercial housing community of Y County are taken as the research object.Through the questionnaire survey,the community participation of the elderly in the commercial housing community is initially understood and summarize and analyze it,taking the content,reasons,and problem of participation in the elderly as the starting point.It is found that the higher the participation rate of the elderly is political activities,but the purpose if participation is mostly staff persuasion rather than interest.The elderly prefer to participate in cultural activities,and organize cultural activities spontaneously to spend leisure time.Through in-depth interviews with two typical cases,this article understands the underlying needs of elderly participation in activities.As important theories in the field of social work,activity theory and ecosystem theory can explain the reasons for the elderly to participate in activities,and analyze the change brought by activity participation.The author will use two theories and combine typical case interviews to study the role of social work in organizing activities to attract the elderly,establishing support systems for the elderly,expanding support networks for the elderly,and linking resources suitable for the elderly,then propose possible measures for social workers to participate in community participation of the elderly. |
