| New changes have taken place in vocational school lives along with the economic and social development and deepening of education reform.At present,there is the same management criteria applied in students’ societies and unions both in secondary and higher vocational schools,however,it has turned out that there are many problems hindering development in terms of methods,mechanism,finance and assessment of students’ societies and unions in secondary vocational schools.As it is emphasized in Further Strengthening and Improving Ideological and Political Education by CPC Central Committee and State Council,Students’ Societies and Unions ought to be an organic part of ideological and political education.What’s more,lots of requirements and attention go to secondary vocational school students’ overall development,which promotes students’ unions and societies regarding self-construction and talent quality.As a result,it is a necessity to give an objective analysis of the present situation and existing problems,clarify its future direction and propose appropriate guidance.Based on theories and practical teaching,many research methods,such as questionnaire,documentation and interviews,are used in the thesis in order to discuss the problems and corresponding policies in this area.As it is specific as in the Students’ Societies and Unions in Tangshan Vocational Education Centre,appendix 1 and 2 have put the relevant problems as follows: poor resource quality,incomplete management mechanism,motivation mechanism not established and low participation and recognition.Several solutions are proposed in the thesis according to these problems: improving management system,innovating motivation mechanism,giving effective development guidance,diversifying activities in order to improve participation and recognition.Vocational education attracts more and more attention,therefore,vocational teachers,out of their sense of responsibility,should make explorations and breakthroughs and put Students’ Societies and Unions’ development on the right track.It is hoped that the thesis could be of research effect in the future. |
