Rural left-behind children is a group which has the Chinese characteristic extremely,with the increasing number of migrant workers working abroad,the number of children left behind gradually increased and existed for a long time.On the basis of reviewing the existing research and taking YT middle school as an example,this paper aims to discuss the effectiveness of social work intervention in the resistance of rural left-behind children.In this study,281 students in YT Middle School in Shanxi Province were selected by cluster sampling method.The questionnaire survey was conducted using cluster sampling,using the self-compiled questionnaire on the basic situation of left-behind children and the " Resistance Scale Chinese Adolescents"(RSCA)compiled by Hu Yueqin and Gan Yiqun in 2008.The eight children with the lowest resistance to stress were selected as the intervention object of social work,guided by the theory of resistance to stress,and the social work practice model,which was group-based,case-assisted.The group is divided into eight times,mainly through the game,film,sharing and the form of assignments,from the target focus,emotional control,positive cognitive,family support and interpersonal assistance to improve their five aspects of resistance;The case is involved in the specific problem of the case.Conclusion: 1.Different gender(p<0.001),whether the one-child family(p=0.008),different grade(p=0.002),different parents care most about content(p=0.026),guardianship type(p=0.035)and different attitude to working parents(p=0.016)will have different effects on the resistance of left-behind children.2.The group-based,case-assisted social work practice model has a positive effect on improving the resilience of children left behind in rural areas.Intervention object in addition to the family support(p=0.369)no significantly increased,Its resilience total score(p<0.001)and its four factors,target focus(p=0.025),emotional control(p=0.020),positive cognitive(p=0.001)and interpersonal assistance(p<0.001)were significantly increased.This practice pattern,the problem solving and personal development on the same important,can effectively Improve theresilience of left-behind children in rural areas,has a certain reference significance for further research.
