As a vulnerable group in China, the left-behind children has drawn more and more intention in the academic field, and become an important issue so far.They are not only the hope of families, but also carry the hope of a country. The well-being of the left-behind children is the responsibility for society and also is the requirement for sharing the beneficiation of reform. How to improve the ability of left behind children to resist external risks is an important issue to solve the problem.Different from perspective problem orientation, social workers are committed to finding their advantages of "self change" and "self growth”. Based on the review of the relevant previous studies,the paper focused on “resilience” in the theory of the system. The study applied revised Children resilience measurement in a survey research for their resilience. The results showed that in M primary school, the left-behind children are not good as non left-behind children in positive cognitive emotional control and interpersonal support. The paper found that the school, family and individual factors contribute to their low level of resilience. The research also tried to adopt the group work to improve this resilience. The author carried out a case counseling service for some left behind children. By measuring the left behind children participate in activities before and after the resilience, the author found that the end of the event of left behind children’ positive thinking, emotional management factor have been improved significantly. This proves that the group activities and case activities can effectively improve the children left behind resilience.
