With the contemporary information technology adopted by the school education,the traditional methods of education have been turned into the epoch of Micro-class.Micro-class,as a new kind of education method,has been thought highly by the education departments and researchers in our country.This thesis will combine the Micro-class and geography education together to discuss the methods and meaning of Micro-class in the high school geography education.Firstly,with searching in the data base,such as Weipu Net and Zhiwang Net,selecting the related thesis of this topic,watching china Micro-class Competition and scanning the platform of Micro-class network,this thesis talks about the background and meaning of Micro-class and the development of this new method in our country.Besides,the writer also lists the content,methods and approach of the research.Secondly,the writer compares the concept of Micro-class with Micro video,flipped classroom model and Mooc,introduces the characteristics of Micro-class,the meaning of adopting Micro-class style.moreover,this paperis based on the theories of micro education theory,constructional learning theory,cognitive load theory and situational learning theory.In addition,the writer through experimental method,and through the experimental class compared with regular class grades,students' learning interest and awareness,compared and discussed micro class teaching effect,the way of teaching and using the interview method to the geographic first-line teachers face-to-face interviews,summed up the making process of the micro class problems,and put forward countermeasures for the improvement of micro lesson,lesson for the future of more in-depth research laid the foundation.At last,with the case method,The thesis uses three examples,<the influence of urbanization to the geography condition>,<the transformation of equipotential surface in the thermodynamic circulation diagram >,<the differences of naturalgeography environment--roles of latitudinal zone>,referring to the traditional methods to design the Micro-class,the writer tries to give some advice to the contemporary Micro-class education construction.introduces the ways of how to use the Micro-class at the same time.writer summarizes the problems which exist in the education of contemporary Micro-class,and gives some solutions to the problems,what the writer has done is the basic platform for the future study.The interviewing teachers hough the face to face,the writer tries to conclude a new kind of principle,steps,methods,design methods and feedback,which were combined the characteristic of high school geography education and the reality of education.
