The Transformation Of Livelihood Of Maike(1978-2016)

Maike is the unique social group in the west of China,it is the cultural symbol of traditional agricultural civilization.Since 1978,the great change have happened in China,especially in the rural society.With the agricultural industry structure is adjusting,the level of agricultural mechanization is improving,the development speed of the urbanization is speeding up,Maike have had different choose of livelihood in different history periods.Finally,Maike gradually disappeared in history.In this paper,the research point is livelihood of Maike in different period,choose Maike in LiangMa village of Gansu province as for main research object,through the field work of ethnology,the depth interviews and other research methods,seeking for the memory about the time of Maike,tracing the past of Maike,searching for the transformation of livelihood of Maike since1978,analyzing the subjective and objective factors of the transformation of Maike,s livelihood.The transformation of livelihood of Maike from 1978 to 2016 regard as the microcosm of the rural society since China,s reform and opening up.This paper mainly includes seven parts,the main content of introduction is a summary and analysis of the study before,and introduces the research ideas,research methods,and the main experience of field work in this part.The first chapter is about the detailed introduction to the field site.The memories of Maike is the main content of the second chapter.The third chapter,the main content is analyzing the transformation of livelihood of Maike in different periods,and discussing the subjective and objective factors of this.In the fourth chapter,the content is selecting the unique Maike as example to further explore the deep reasons of transformation of livelihood of Maike in different periods on the basis of the former three chapters.The mainly content of the fifth chapter is further interpreting the theme of this paper,and discuss the changes of the rural society in China,as transformation of livelihood of Maike in different periods for example.The content of the conclusion part is the summary and reflection of this paper.
