A Turning Of History: A Study Of Livelihood Way Of A New Village Of Zhuang Immigrants

Long Tan hydroelectric station is a project of the great strategy for western development which our country invests and builds in Tan'e ,there being much water resource. The establishment of the Long tan hydroelectric station brought about lots of immigrants. Whether immigrants acquire real benefits during the period of modernizing and what's choice of their national culture and how immigrants adapt the culture changes. At present nobody study the culture changes of the immigrants of Long Tan. So this paper takes livelihood changes of the immigrants as a point of penetration and takes a new village of immigrants—Lianqian, Liupai town, Tian'e county as example, Use anthropological theory and methods of participation and depth interview and collecting documents and so on to try to carde the fundamental artery of immigrants' livelihood changes , reveal the special law of livelihood changes, probe into the effect of developing on livelihood of the immigrants, seek the cultural intension of immigrants' livelihood changes and its developing way , look into immigrant' adaptation to the culture changes and so on.Through fieldwork of a new village of immigrants—Lianqian, the writer thinks immigrants' livelihood changes is the result of interacting of inside and outside reasons, and the spreading of new technology and immigrants' adopting it is the maid factor of culture changes. The immigrant's adaptation is an evolutionary process, adaptation brings changes and development.
