As a kind of recognized moral principle of human,integrity has been highly respected and concerned by the people in different countries since ancient times.With the development of society,integrity gains more and more attention.And carrying out integrity education in primary and secondary schools becomes a consensus in many countries.Primary and secondary school textbooks contain a wealth of resources about integrity.Primary school language as one of the main subjects of primary school,in the integrity of education plays a very important role.And as the main carrier of primary school Chinese textbooks for the integrity of the study is more important.Studying the elements of honesty and education in primary school textbooks plays an important role in inheriting traditional culture and promoting honesty education of primary school students.So what kind of integrity education elements are contained in the textbooks of three sets of primary school Chinese textbooks?What are the differences between these integrity education elements?What is the deep reason behind the similarities?These questions are worthy of our in-depth study.Therefore,this thesis selected the "learn Chinese language" of Hong Kong Longman Education Press published in 2011,the "Mandarin" of Taiwan Kang Xuan Culture and Education Press published in 2011,and the "Chinese" of the Mainland People's Education Publishing House published in 2001,and made a comparison of the integrity education elements and their presentation way,then analyzed the problems behind them,Finally make suggestions for the problems.This thesis is composed of the introduction and the text(four parts):The introduction discusses the origin and research significance of the research,defines the core concept of this study,summarizes the relevant research literature,expounds the object,content,method and train of thought of the research;In the first part,the establishment of analytical framework,sorting out the previous scholar's discussion,syllabus and three sets of textbooks etc,summed up the analysis dimension and category of honesty education elements,and finally forming a analysis framework of this research.The framework is consisted of three dimensions,honesty to oneself,honesty to others and honesty to the society.And each dimension can be divided into several different categories and sub-categories.The second part is the frequency analysis of integrity education elements in the elementary Chinese textbooks of Hong Kong,Taiwan,mainland China analyzing the main titles and subtitles,illustrations,thinking and practice projects and etc.The third part is the content analysis comparing the presentation of honest work,sincere help,the necessary lies,patriotic and law-abiding and respect for life.The fourth part is conclusions and suggestions.The following conclusions are drawn by comparison:Three sets of primary school Chinese textbooks emphasize the integrity of others;Heping others is the most concerned in three places;Integrity of their own dimensions of common emphasis on sincere work;Focus on the integrity of the social dimension of respect for life;Three sets of primary school Chinese textbooks have a lack of integrity;Necessary lies is a special form of integrity;China attaches great importance to the patriotic and law-abiding integrity education;The thinking and practice of Hong Kong textbooks various;The research proposal is as follows:reasonably distributing the elements of honesty education,paying attention to students and the society;Selecting the text lively and vivid text close to the students' reality of life;Adding the elements of traditional culture to meet the diversified needs;Arranging appropriate amount of practice while making the form rich and various.
