In recent years,the state vigorously promotes the schools' quality-oriented education,especially the art education which treats music aesthetics as the core.According to the music curriculum standard of general high schools formulated by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China,the contents of music curriculum in ordinary high schools are set as six big modules,such as music appreciation,singing,playing,creation,music and dance,music and dramatic performance.Among them,music appreciation module is a main channel to enhance and promote students' basic musical culture accomplishment,cultivate their aesthetic taste,and improve their aesthetic ability.Therefore,taking new ideas of music appreciation teaching and practical exploration of teaching methods as the breakthrough point,the author put forward a new idea,which uses singing teaching in music appreciation course,so as to ensure the practicality and effectiveness of music appreciation teaching in ordinary high schools.The author used interviewing methods and classroom observation method to investigate the application situation of singing teaching in music appreciation course of several ordinary high schools in Haikou City,and the results show that the teachers use less singing teaching in the music appreciation course of ordinary high schools.Therefore,the author analyzed the reasons why the ordinary high schools in Haikou City adopt less singing teaching in music appreciation class,and put forward four practicable schemes for the application of singing teaching of music appreciation class in ordinary high schools,namely,the vocal music works of numbered musical notation adopt direct singing;the instrumental music works of numbered musical notation adopt theme-based singing;the multi-tone works of numbered musical notation adopt a way of melody parts;as well as the music works of staves adopt fist tune singing.During the period of graduate student internship,the author personally applied the above-mentioned four practicable schemes in a key middle school in Haikou City.In the practice process,although the author met with some difficulties,in general,the effect of project practice is relatively significant,because it arouse the enthusiasm that the students actively participated in the class improved the students' conscious singing consciousness and so on.Therefore,effectively using singing teaching in music appreciation course of ordinary high schools improved the overall quality of music appreciation teaching.So the subject idea put forward by the author has a certain practicality and effectiveness.
