With the development of the Chinese economy,the problem of left-behind children in rural area becomes a particular problem.A lot of left-behind children exist psychological concerns because of the absence of parents’ companion.Many studies have shown that left-behind children had more psychological problems than those non-left-behind children.Studying on the relationship between discrimination of perception,coping style and loneliness of left-behind children is helpful to further understand the problem arising in the psychological development of left-behind children.Besides,it can also provide a perspective of work and theoretical basis in the psychological health education of left-behind children.Based on the analysis of the literatures,this paper conducted questionnaire survey among 512 left-behind children using Individual Perceptual Discrimination Questionnaire,Coping Style Questionnaire and Loneliness Questionnaire.The present situation and relationship of discrimination of perception,coping style and loneliness of left-behind children was analyzed and the difference in demography was tested respectively.And then this paper studied the specific generating process of discrimination of perception through interview method.At last,the intervention effect of narrative therapy on discrimination of perception and loneliness of left-behind children was proved through case study.The results were as follows:(1)The grade factor made significant difference on discrimination of perception of left-behind children,and students of Grade Four had the highest levels.(2)Grade differences were great in coping style on problem solving and illusion of left-behind children.The use of coping style on problem solving increased with grade level,and coping style on illusion existed significant difference in Grade Five and Grade nine.(3)There was no significant difference in demography variables in the loneliness of left-behind children,and loneliness was ubiquity in those left-behind children.(4)There was a positive correlation between discrimination of perception and self-accusation,illusion,avoidance,rationalization,and had significant negative correlation with recourse.(5)Self-accusation,illusion,avoidance and rationalization in coping style had significant positive correlation with the loneliness of left-behind children,and solving problem and recourse had significant negative correlation with loneliness.(6)There was a positive correlation between discrimination of perception and loneliness of left-behind children.(7)Coping style played intermediary role in discrimination of perception and loneliness of left-behind children,and recourse and rationalization played a significant intermediary role independently.(8)The main way of left-behind children to have a discrimination of perception was peers.(9)The intervention effect of narrative therapy on discrimination of perception and loneliness of left-behind children was good.
