In recent years, with the continuous innovation and development of information technology and the wave of information technology, the mobile phone has gradually become the window for left-behind children to know the world and has become a "companion" to accompany them growing up,especially on weekends and holidays when children are free at home, and has taken over most of the lives of left-behind children with impunity. However,at such an important stage of growth, with immature psychology and lack of educational supervision, the bad habits of addiction and social behavior induced by mobile phone use often challenge children’s social participation and the establishment of intimate relationships, and the bad use of mobile phones greatly exacerbates the inner closure and loneliness of left-behind children. This paper collected research data related to rural left-behind children mainly by using questionnaires,semi-structured interviews, and participant observation methods. It was found that the lack of necessary interpersonal interactions with others due to the long-term indulgence of left-behind children in mobile phone entertainment is an important reason for the loneliness of left-behind children. The impact of bad mobile phone use habits on the loneliness of left-behind children is reflected in the following three aspects: firstly, the longer the time spent on mobile phone entertainment, the higher the loneliness;secondly, the lower the frequency of parent-child online communication, the higher the loneliness;thirdly, the poorer the peer online interaction and communication, the higher the loneliness. Therefore, based on cognitive behavioral theory and social support theory, this study carried out seven group activities in three aspects: controlling the length of mobile phone entertainment, close parent-child communication and improving children’s peer interaction skills,in order to intervene in the poor mobile phone use habits of left-behind children, with a view to effectively reducing the loneliness of left-behind children. The evaluation of the results found that after the group work intervention, the eight left-behind children in Village C had a new understanding of the disadvantages of mobile phone use,had an appropriate reduction in the amount of time spent on mobile phone entertainment, had a significant increase in interaction with their parents and peers, and were more active in exploring healthier lifestyles, and their sense of isolation was reduced to some extent. It is hoped that this paper can provide some insights into the study of helping left-behind children to use mobile phones rationally to alleviate their loneliness,so that individual left-behind children can learn to perceive and use mobile phones rationally, and to use a broader perspective to expand their learning and promote their healthy growth in addition to maintaining good communication with others, thus alleviating their loneliness more effectively. |
